Sigulda Pilsētas Trase
Pilsētas Trase is located in Sigulda, in the territory of the Gauja National Park in the Gauja Valley, 52km from Riga. You can get to the slope from the top from the new Svētku Square, and from the bottom near Sigulda’s Gauja beach (500m from the Gauja Bridge).
We have the sportiest hill with a 350m long trail and 90m high vertical rise. All relevant competitions in Latvia are held on our slope. The unofficial record of speed was registered here, 107 km/h.
Ski lift types:
- 2-passanger chairlift
- T-bar Lift
- Beginners lift
Chairlift is our greatest pride and this way we are different from other slopes in Latvia. It is the first such kind of lift in Baltics. The lift started its work in February 2007. It was designed and produced in Austria, installed under surveillance of Austrian lift company. Going down there is a magnificent view of the Gauja River and valley.
Our new price policy
Pilsētas Trase has lowered the prices for lifts during the winter season 2009/2010!
T-bar lift now costs 0.30Ls per ride and chairlift 0.35Ls per ride.
As Sigulda Pilsētas Trase is managed by Sigulda Olympic Centre so Olympic champions and medallists can ski for free.
